“Amanda did an amazing job on my illustrations! She immediately understood what I wanted and has excellent communication skills, which make this process a breeze. Of course her work is just stunning, and it took my slides for my recent keynote address at a conference in Brazil to a new level. I got so many lovely comments on my slides and I am so grateful that I found Amanda. She is exactly who I was looking for!”

illustration Process

This illustration process is a quick overview of what you can expect when working with A. Calvin Design.

1. Let’s Chat

A half-hour for us to meet each other, during which we discuss your businesses, your needs, the creative process, and how we can best help you.

2. Creative Brief Survey

This survey was created to give us a better understanding of your business, your audience, your expectations, and your aesthetic preferences.

3. Quote & Contract

We send out a quote that often includes several package options. You choose the package that best fits your needs and sign the contract attached.

4. Let’s Get Started

We begin the creative process for the illustration, which includes research, mood boards, sketches, and the creation of an illustration concept.

5. Review Concepts

We send the concepts to you to review, you choose your favorite and let us know what you would like adjusted.

6. Revision Rounds

We send the illustration to you to review and you let us know what you would like to adjust. We continue to revise the illustration until you’re happy with the solution.

7. Final Graphic Design Files

Once the illustration has been approved, we send you the final files so that you can begin using your new imagery right away.
