Freelance WordPress PHP Developer (Long-term Cooperation)

A. Calvin Design LLC is looking for a freelance WordPress PHP developer to assist us with ongoing and future website design and development projects. We are looking for someone who’d like to establish a long-term relationship with us and be available for up to 20 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites using Divi and BuddyBoss themes.
• Ensure website optimization and functionality.
• Collaborate with the design team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends.
• Research and provide appropriate solutions for client website functionality requests.
• Prepare easy-to-consume reports for clients, including website audits, user surveys, and focus group findings.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in PHP, CSS, Javascript, SQL databases, and WordPress development.
• Proficiency in Divi, BuddyBoss, and Paid Memberships Pro.
• Experience with WordPress theme customization and optimization.
• Passion for website design preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Positive and friendly attitude.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in email development (Pardot) and knowledge of UX design and accessibility are a plus.
• Fluency in English.
• Available to work on EST time.

Position Details:

• Part-time contractor position.
• Rate: $20/hour.
• Workload: 10-20 hours per week, with advance notice of project timelines.
• Varied projects, including small business sites, professional membership sites, and large-scale certification websites.
• Remote work arrangement with a flexible schedule, available for collaboration during EST business hours (9 AM to 5 PM).
