DELAWARE VALLEY TRANSLATORS ASSOCIATION

 Graphic Design

CHALLENGE

The DVTA was in need of a new piece of marketing collateral to promote the group to new members and sponsors. The new place would replace the current trifold which was dated and lacked appeal.

DVTA wanted the promotional postcard to have a modern aesthetic that would appeal to a young professional audience while increasing comprehension and engagement. The main challenge was to craft an engaging and informative piece that would lead to increased membership.

ABOUT

The Delaware Valley Translators Association is a local chapter of the American Translators Association. The non-profit’s goal is to bring translators and interpreters together for networking, mentoring, and continuing education.

SOLUTION

The final design is centered around the word “community” to push the idea of membership and belonging. The large word grabs the audience’s attention and leads them to the smaller body copy that quickly and effectively communicates exactly what DVTA is and what they do. This modern and clean display of information on the front and back communicates efficiently and effectively.
